Reservoirs Filled to 40% Capacity After Heavy Rainfall
Cypriot reservoirs were filled with approximately 140,000 cubic meters of water within 24 hours, with around 118,000 cubic meters flowing into the Kouris reservoir alone. The water supply authority stated that while rainfall is beneficial for irrigation, reservoirs overall are filled to only 40% of their capacity.
