Resistance to Migrant Facility for Minors in Nicosia
Residents and parents of the Lykavittos neighborhood in Nicosia are protesting vehemently against a government plan to open a shelter for unaccompanied minor migrants nearby. The school is located very close to the planned site, which has led to massive resistance. The municipal council also rejects the plans, and signatures are being collected against the project.
