Road Deaths in Cyprus Rise 9.8% in 2025
According to the European Road Safety Council, the number of traffic fatalities in Cyprus rose 9.8% in 2025. The country ranks 16th in deaths per capita in the EU. Across the EU27, approximately 19,500 people were killed in traffic accidents and over 100,000 were seriously injured.
