Rolling Power Cuts During Heat Wave
The Cypriot power grid operator implemented nighttime power outages of 20 to 30 minutes as electricity demand could not be met during a heat wave. The deficit between electricity generation and consumption was approximately 25 megawatts in the early evening hours.
