Roma in Cyprus: Housing situation in abandoned areas
An article examines the housing situation of the Roma population in Cyprus. According to Prof. Loizos Symeonidis of European University College of Cyprus, Roma live partly in abandoned houses of former Turkish-Cypriot residents in the buffer zone and partly in specially constructed prefabricated settlements in rural and divided regions.
