Roman settlement excavated near Marseille
Archaeologists have discovered an ancient Roman settlement in France near Gémenos close to Marseille, which flourished between the 1st and 3rd centuries. The Inrap Institute has been investigating the site since 2013, with previous excavations until 2023 in neighboring areas. The discovery reveals a significant Roman settlement in the region.
