Russia plans to halt Kazakh oil shipments to Germany
According to a Reuters report, Russia plans to interrupt deliveries of Kazakh crude oil to Germany via the Druzhba pipeline starting May 1, 2026. This jeopardizes the supply of one of Germany's largest refineries. According to three industry sources, an adjusted export plan has already been transmitted to Kazakhstan and Germany. This measure is part of ongoing tensions in the energy sector following geopolitical conflicts.
