Russian Forces Remove Greek Sign from Occupied Mariupol
According to journalist Kostas Onisenko's reports, the Russian army is removing an inscription in Greek language from the southwestern entrance of the occupied city of Mariupol. The plaque, erected by Ukrainian authorities in 2018, had been painted over by Russian invaders with the colors of their flag. The incident is part of cultural erasure by the occupying power.
