Safe Bulkers Raises 80.4 Million Euros
The Cyprus-based shipping company Safe Bulkers raised 80.4 million euros through a private placement. The company placed twelve million new common shares at 6.70 euros each with selected investors. The funds are intended to support the company's ambitious newbuilding program and maintain options for additional ship purchases.
