Sailor Kontides returns to competition year with eighth place
Cypriot sailor Pavlos Kontides returned to the 2026 competition season with an eighth-place finish at the Grand Slam of Hyères. In the ILCA7 class, Kontides showed strong performance on the final day with a second place in the first race and a seventh place in the subsequent race.
