Sardinian Bronze Age Towers Used as Ritual Sites into Iron Age
Archaeological research shows that the ancient stone structures known as "Nuraghe" in Sardinia, which were built during the Bronze Age, also served as active centers for ritual and social exchange during the Iron Age. The towers were not abandoned when new religious practices emerged, but remained significant over centuries.
