Savings Rate in Eurozone Remains Stable at 14.3 Percent
The household savings rate in the eurozone remained stable at 14.3 percent in the first quarter of 2026. According to Eurostat data, private consumption and disposable gross income rose at similar growth rates of 0.8 and 0.7 percent respectively, which explains the stability.
