Scandal in China's Military: Generals Dismissed for Espionage and Bribery
Chinese leadership has removed two high-ranking generals, Zhang Wuxia and Liu Zenli, from their positions in the Central Military Commission. An investigation spanning several months uncovered that one of the generals passed atomic secrets to the United States and accepted money for promotions. China's state news agency Xinhua reported the dismissals via the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.
