School Violence in Cyprus: Physical Attacks Dominate, Cyberbullying on the Rise
A report by the Safe School Team shows that physical and verbal violence were the most common forms of school violence during the 2024-2025 academic year, while cyberbullying has increased significantly. The team documented 510 incidents at 98 schools, representing 13.19% of all Cypriot schools. The data indicates a serious problem area in the Cypriot school system.
