School Violence in Cyprus: Study Documents Physical and Verbal Attacks
A study by the Safe School Environment working group documents alarming figures on violence in Cypriot schools during the 2024-2025 school year. Physical assaults such as hitting, kicking, and punching, as well as verbal violence including name-calling, threats, and bullying are the most common forms. Most incidents fall into these categories, while more serious cases show lower numbers.
