Scientific Study: DNA Reveals 6,000 Years of Human History
An international study led by Kim-Louise Krkett from the University of Tübingen has reconstructed the genetic history of South American populations over 6,000 years. The research published in "Current Biology" shows that ancient populations were genetically more complex and geographically mobile than previous archaeological findings suggested. DNA analyses point to significantly more dynamic population movement and mixing.
