Security Review in Police Detention Facilities After Escape
Following the successful escape of a 19-year-old inmate from Lakatamia prison on Friday night, security measures in Cypriot police detention facilities are being reviewed. Justice Minister Kostas Fitiris announced that the issue of overcrowding and security measures would be on the agenda at his meeting with the police chief on Monday.
