Sentence for child sexual abuse significantly increased
The Court of Appeals increased the sentence of a convicted person from seven to ten years imprisonment in each of the 48 counts of child sexual abuse. The decision was made on June 30, 2026. The convicted person was also prohibited from living or working near children.
