Service sector booms, hotel industry slows down
In the second quarter of 2026, Cyprus's service and transport sector recorded mixed developments, with professional services showing the strongest growth at 3.4 percent, while accommodation and administrative activities experienced a decline. The statistics authority Cystat reported that specialized services recorded the largest gains.
