Severe flooding in South Asia claims at least 82 lives
Heavy rainfall led to at least 82 deaths this week in Northeast India, Pakistan and Afghanistan. The flooding caused significant damage to farmland, infrastructure and public facilities, particularly in Assam with ten deaths in the last 24 hours.
