Severe Staff Shortages at Ammochostos Hospital
Ammochostos General Hospital (Famagusta) is struggling with significant staff shortages and gaps in basic medical specialties. District Governor Yiannis Karousos described the situation as "concerning" and wrote to the Health Minister and state health organization OKYPY to demand "immediate answers". The waiting time for neurological examinations currently stands at 6-7 months.
