Shadow vessels circumvent US blockade of Iran
At least 26 ships of the so-called 'shadow fleet' continue their voyages to and from Iranian ports despite the US naval embargo in effect since April 13. According to Lloyd's List information, at least 11 oil and gas tankers are being used. The activities demonstrate Iran's efforts to circumvent international sanctions.
