Share of Renewable Energy in Cyprus Reaches 36.9 Percent
The share of electricity generation from renewable energy sources in Cyprus continued to rise in the first five months of 2026, reaching 36.88 percent in May. Cyprus, however, remains significantly behind the EU average in renewable energy generation.
