Ship Traffic in Strait of Hormuz Drops Dramatically
The passage of merchant ships through the Strait of Hormuz has dropped dramatically to only 33 ships this week (Monday through Thursday), compared to already low 50 ships in the previous week. Markets are waiting for news or progress in negotiations between Iran and Oman in hopes of reopening the critical sea lane.
