Shipping Accident off Cape Greco: Authorities Investigate Causes
Following the shipping accident off Cape Greco, in which boat captain Dimitris Mavropoulos lost his life, the Shipping Ministry is conducting an investigation. Deputy Director General Theodulos Mesimeris stated that the exact causes of the accident, which in combination with extreme weather conditions led to the vessel's sinking, are to be clarified. The situation is being continuously monitored.
