Shipping Conference Emphasizes Investment in Seafarers and Female Leadership
Cyprus's Shipping Deputy Ministry hosted a high-level conference in Limassol on the topic of "Investing in Seafarers: Securing the Future of Global Shipping" as part of Cyprus's EU Council Presidency. Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis called for seafarers to be at the center of maritime policy, as the future of global shipping depends not only on regulation and technology but also on the people driving the industry forward. The conference gave special attention to investments in seafarers and the promotion of female leaders in the shipping industry.
