Shipping Through Strait of Hormuz Plummets
Commercial shipping through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz has dropped dramatically: over the weekend, only 12 merchant vessels passed through the strait, compared to 35 in the previous week. Tensions in the Persian Gulf remain elevated while negotiations between the US and Iran continue.
