Ships in Hormuz Strait and Typhoon Threaten Global Trade
International shipping is facing turbulence due to increased security risks in the Hormuz Strait following new attacks on merchant vessels, as well as the Super Typhoon Bavi, which threatens major shipping routes and ports in Taiwan and eastern China. The maritime risk consultancy EOS Risk Group has raised its risk assessment for ship traffic through the strait.
