Signing of Agreement for Gas Sales from Aphrodite Field to Egypt
NewMed Energy announced on Wednesday that all signatures for the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Egyptian natural gas company (EGAS) regarding the sale of all recoverable natural gas from Cyprus's Aphrodite Field have been secured. The field is located in the Cypriot maritime zone Block 12 and marks an important step for Cyprus's energy development.
