Sixth Vulture Dead Under EAC Power Lines Near Korfi
A sixth vulture was found dead and another seriously injured beneath power lines operated by the electricity authority EAC in the Korfi area. The Wildlife and Fauna Protection Service had already warned the EAC about these power lines in early 2025 before the first bird died. The new findings indicate an ongoing problem with dangerous electrical infrastructure for the protected bird species.
