Skull from German River: Modern Human from 7,500 Years Ago
A skull recovered from a river in Germany over 50 years ago is solving scientific puzzles. New research shows that the frontal bone from Hahnöfersand belonged to a modern human who lived approximately 7,500 years ago, not a Neanderthal hybrid from the distant past.
