Slovakia Caps Gas Station Profit Margins at 10 Cents per Liter
The Slovak government is introducing a price cap on profit margins at gas stations while simultaneously seeking to reduce taxes on train tickets. Prime Minister Robert Fico is additionally calling for an emergency EU summit to combat skyrocketing fuel prices. The measures are to take effect from October.
