SMS Fraud in the Name of Cyprus Health System
The Cypriot health insurance provider and police are warning of fraudulent SMS messages that impersonate communications from the national health system (GESY). The fraudsters use the designation GESY or similar names to deceive insured persons. Authorities are advising the public to exercise heightened caution with suspicious messages.
