Society of Cypriot Studies celebrates 90th anniversary with art museum
The Society of Cypriot Studies, founded in 1936 to document and internationally promote Greek identity and Byzantine history of Cyprus, is celebrating its 90th anniversary. The affiliated Cyprus Folk Art Museum houses more than 5,000 objects, including textiles, ceramics, carvings, jewelry, furniture, paintings, icons, costumes, embroidery, and tools.
