Solar installation applications decline significantly in Cyprus
The number of applications for photovoltaic systems in Cyprus has declined drastically, mainly due to problems with the electricity grid, which is unable to handle the additional capacity. Grid problems lead to throttling and restrictions for private solar installations. This hinders Cyprus's goal of energy independence through solar energy.
