Spain Battles Massive Wildfires
Following the first heat wave of summer, Spain is plagued by a wave of wildfires. Particularly affected are the La Litera region in Huesca with approximately 4,000 hectares, the El Bierzo area in the northwest, and parts of Zaragoza Province. The fires demonstrate the increasing impact of extreme weather conditions.
