Spanish Archaeologists Discover Over 30 Shipwrecks
Spanish archaeologists have identified more than 30 shipwrecks in the waters between Algeciras and the Rock of Gibraltar. The wrecks date from various periods, spanning at least from the fifth century BC to World War II. The discovery provides new insights into maritime activity at the ancient Strait of Hercules over several centuries.
