Spring allergies increasing: Pollen and asthma
Spring allergies are intensified by high pollen concentrations and cause rhinitis, congestion, and asthma. Approximately 30 percent of adults and 40 percent of children and adolescents are affected, with doctors reporting a sharp increase in cases. Dust is expected as an additional triggering factor.
