Sri Lanka: Deadly Prison Unrest
Severe unrest at a prison near the capital Colombo in Sri Lanka resulted in at least 25 deaths, with approximately 100 others injured. The riots, which began on Sunday at Negombo prison, continued on Monday and are described as among the deadliest incidents since the crisis began.
