State Assumes Recovery Costs, Demands Reimbursement from Insurers
Under the new "Nestor" plan, the state will take responsibility for recovering vehicles in severe traffic accidents and clearing roads quickly, as Justice Minister Costas Fitiris announced. Insurance companies will later reimburse the state for recovery costs. The system was developed following a seven-hour traffic collapse last month.
