State collects 747 million euros from old debts
Debt settlement programs for outstanding tax debts and social security fund contributions have generated 747 million euros in revenue for the state. Of this, 647 million euros came from the tax office for outstanding taxes. These programs allowed chronic debtors to settle their payment obligations and enabled the state to recover substantial arrears from previous years.
