State hospitals defend treatment of autistic child
Cyprus's state health organization Okypy has stated that the University Hospitals of Nicosia and Makarios followed all required medical protocols in the treatment of an autistic child. This came in response to a complaint from relatives regarding the handling of an incident in the state hospitals. Both facilities are accredited and apply standardized procedures for all conditions.
