State Pays 113.3 Million Euros in Retirement Gratuities
The Cypriot state will pay out a total of 113.3 million euros in 2027 to 977 civil servants retiring, averaging 116,000 euros per person as tax-free compensation. These funds come from the state budget and will be transferred directly to the accounts of the departing employees.
