Stray Dog Packs Threaten Cyprus Mouflon in Paphos Forest
The population of Cyprus mouflon is being threatened by populations of stray dogs in the Paphos Forest, which are killing the wild sheep and impairing their reproduction. According to the Hunting and Wildlife Service, the problem has intensified in recent years and affects the entire Paphos Forest area at the buffer zone. In some cases, the dog packs also pose a danger to people.
