Student housing becomes scarce: rents rise significantly
Demand for student housing far exceeds supply, with rental prices for one-bedroom apartments between €600 and €1,500 per month. According to Marinos Kineyirou, chairman of the real estate agents association, one-bedroom apartments in Nicosia, Larnaca, and Paphos cost €600 to €900 monthly, while prices in other regions are considerably higher.
