Study: Births of women over 40 in Greece exploding
A new study shows that while the overall birth rate in Greece declined by 30%, births to women over 40 years old have increased fivefold since 1990. The share of this older age group rose from just 1.8% in the early 1980s to over 10% in 2023-24.
