Study: Microplastics on Cyprus Beaches Come from the Sea
A scientific study shows that microplastics and mesoplastics on Cyprus beaches originate primarily from the sea rather than from land or rivers. The research analyzed 16 locations across approximately 500 km of coastline and was published in the Journal of Environmental Chemical Engineering.
