Suicide of 14-year-old: Social services under pressure
In the court proceedings regarding the suicide of 14-year-old Stylianos, significant deficiencies in the work of the Social Services (ΥΚΕ) were revealed. Criminal investigator Andreas Andreou accused the authority of insufficient application of prescribed procedures and presented detailed findings to the Nicosia District Court regarding the boy's family circumstances.
