Summer bookings down by up to 30 percent
Bookings for summer are 25 to 30 percent lower than the previous year, according to Christos Angelidis, general director of the Cypriot hotel association PASUXE. Current hotel occupancy for summer stands at only 40 to 50 percent, indicating a slow recovery in demand.
