Supermassive Black Holes to Collide Within 100 Years
Astronomers may have discovered a pair of supermassive black holes emitting enormous amounts of energy and spiraling toward each other. The expected collision could occur within the next century and should generate gravitational waves that could also be measurable on Earth.
